Another World is a community space and movement center where neighbors come together to build grassroots power. Our mission is to organize lasting institutions of collective care and radical democracy; through these institutions, we can change our city. We envision a Brooklyn of abundance, where children play on the street, neighbors greet each other by name, public services meet public needs, and everyone can afford to live well. Through popular education, political and cultural programming, and strong webs of community groups, Another World nurtures intergenerational social movements, neighborhood institutions, relationships, organizers, and love.

Another world is possible—we just have to build it.

Another World is open Wednesdays - Sundays from 11am - 8pm
You can just come in to hang out, to cowork, to plot, and to meet your neighbors. See our calendar for events.
